How you doin’?
If you didn’t read that in the voice of Joey Tribbiani from Friends, do you even like the 90’s? Friends is just one of countless things worth mentioning in this nostalgic party theme that we couldn’t resist. Who doesn’t love mixtapes, Blockbuster, and Lunchables (or maybe that’s just us)? Whether you lived through the 90’s and remember them fondly, or just love a good throwback, this 90’s Birthday Party theme will have everyone excited to celebrate!
Like previous posts, most of these items can be found on Amazon, so for those who have Prime or prefer to shop in one place, this post will be ideal for you. We’ll point out a few alternatives along the way as well.
Two items you will have a hard time finding alternatives for are the Iridescence Tablecloth and Floppy Disk Napkins and CD Plates – they’re unique and fun, and definitely bring that 90’s vibe. We feel they’re worth spending slightly more than we would normally recommend since you’ll find that the rest of the decoration options are relatively affordable!
Now while these Inflatable Electronic Props are not a necessity, they make for great photo props if you decide to take your party up a notch and require a dress code – and by that we mean acid-wash jeans, scrunchies, capri pants, and tube tops.
Here is where we give you a couple of options for our “party favors”. These Glow Sticks, Ring Pops, and Silly Straws can all be found on Amazon for reasonable prices, but you can also check out Target’s party aisle for some other options that you can find in-store or on their website for pickup (click on the picture below or link here to take you to these “favorited” items). Party favors don’t have to just be for kids – these can give your friends and family a blast from the past without hurting your wallet. As a plus, you can scatter them across your table for added decor!
So now that we’ve covered some simple decor and favors for our 90’s themed party, let’s get down to the good stuff – that’s right, the drink list.
We highly recommend checking out our Dirty Shirley Temple – the perfect pairing of sweet and tart, and very hard to mess up. Another plus – skip the booze and it can be served to anyone at the party!
Cheers!
